Ingredients to AVOID in personal care products
Propylene Glycol (PG) and Butylene Glycol - found in Anti-freeze.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) & Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) - Detergents used in garage floor cleaners and engine degreasers (foaming agent in personal care products).
Diethanomanime (DEA),
Monoethanolaniine (MEA),
Triethanolamine (TEA) - hormone-disrupting chemicals.
Sodium Hydroxide - poison found in drain cleaners, yet used in toothpaste.
Triclosan - Synthetic "antibacterial" with chemical structure similar to Agent Orange! Registered as a pesticide by the EPA.
DMDM & Urea (Imidazolidinyl) - preservatives that release formaldehyde.
Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) - Carcinogenic petroleum. Increases the appearance of aging and leaves the skin vunerable to bacteria.
Liutane or Propane - found in aerosol products. May be narcotic and cause asphyxiation.
Alcohol, Isopropyl (SD-40) - strips skin of it's moisure and immune barrier, making you vunerable to bacteria and viruses.
Mineral Oil - clogs pores, and interferes with skin's ability to eliminate toxins. Promotes acne and slows down cell development. Baby oil is 100% mineral oil.
FD&C Color Pigments - Synthetic colors from coal tar that deposits toxins onto the skin. Animal studies have shown they are carcinogenic (cancer causing).
